Joseph A. Cashia serves as Chairman of Compliance Partners providing advisory services to the Executive Team of Medical Executive Partners in regards to expansion and service delivery to clients. He has served as a board member and advisor to companies in the medical technology, clinical research and health services sectors. Cashia has developed healthcare companies and has seen them through mergers and public offering.

Cashia has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has created, acquired, or managed more than 1,000 healthcare centers. Cashia was the Founder of National Renal Alliance, LLC (NRA) and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He successfully raised private equity and debt for the venture. In 6 years, NRA grew to 45 healthcare centers in 10 states, and in 2008 NRA completed a merger with Renal Advantage, the 3rd largest provider of dialysis services in the United States. Cashia also co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Renal Care Group (NYSE: RCI) and saw the company through mergers and a public offering. The company grew from 13 to 47 clinics during his tenure and was named to Fortune Magazine’s Top 100 growth companies (#31).

Cashia holds a MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, a BA from University of Alabama, and a BS in Nursing from Samford University.
